NCT ID NCT05527834

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking a new antibiotic (ceftibuten/VNRX-7145) with food changes how the body absorbs it. Twenty-four healthy adults took the drug once while fasting and once after a meal. The goal was to measure drug levels in the blood and check for side effects, not to treat any disease.
