Scientists test if meals change how your body handles a new pill
NCT ID NCT07240636
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand how eating a standard meal affects how the body absorbs and processes a single dose of an investigational capsule called VV119. It will involve 16 healthy Chinese adult volunteers who will take the capsule either with or without food in a crossover design. The main goal is to measure drug levels in the blood and check for any side effects to see if food changes how the drug works in the body.
