Scientists test if breakfast changes your medicine

NCT ID NCT07141381

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how eating food and taking a common stomach acid medication (rabeprazole) affect how the body absorbs a new drug called VRN110755. It involves 24 healthy adult volunteers who will take the drug under different conditions: on an empty stomach, after a meal, and after taking the acid reducer. The main goal is to gather basic safety and absorption data to help plan future studies.
