Healthy food delivered to doorsteps to fight diabetes
NCT ID NCT04831216
Summary
This study tested a program to help people with type 2 diabetes who struggle to afford healthy food. For 12 weeks, researchers delivered boxes of diabetes-friendly food and easy-to-understand education materials directly to participants' homes. The goal was to see if this direct support could improve blood sugar levels, diet quality, and diabetes self-management for 101 low-income adults in Arkansas.
