Summary

This study tested whether delivering diabetes-friendly food boxes to people's homes, along with easy-to-understand educational materials, could improve health in low-income adults with type 2 diabetes who also face food insecurity. The study enrolled 101 participants in Arkansas. The main goal was to see if this approach could lower blood sugar levels (HbA1c) and improve diet quality.
