Fresh food boxes aim to fight cancer in struggling communities
NCT ID NCT07039630
Summary
This study is testing whether delivering half-price boxes of fresh produce, with or without extra nutrition education, can help low-income families eat healthier and become more food secure. The goal is to see if better access to nutritious food can help prevent obesity-related cancers. Researchers will follow 50 families in Western New York for 24 weeks to see how the program affects their diets.
