Can food stop cancer? study tests if groceries help patients beat disease
NCT ID NCT01603316
Summary
This study is testing which type of food assistance works best to help cancer patients complete their treatment. Researchers are comparing three options: monthly food vouchers, weekly grocery deliveries, and a hospital food pantry. They want to see if making sure patients have enough to eat helps them stick with and finish their cancer therapy.
