NCT ID NCT01329302

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looked at whether flushing the follicles with fluid during egg retrieval helps women who produce few eggs (poor responders) get more eggs for IVF. 257 women with fewer than 5 mature follicles were randomly assigned to standard egg retrieval or retrieval with flushing. The goal was to see if flushing increases the number of mature eggs collected and improves pregnancy chances.
