Summary
This study looks at whether taking folic acid supplements can help people living in areas with high arsenic levels get rid of the toxin more quickly and protect their lungs. Researchers will measure arsenic levels in urine and blood and track breathing symptoms over 12 weeks. The study involves 100 adults in Birmingham, Alabama, who are exposed to arsenic in their environment.
