Sound waves probe brain tumors during surgery

Summary
This study looks at how focused ultrasound affects the fluid around brain tumors during surgery. Six adults with large brain tumors will have small catheters placed to collect samples from areas with and without ultrasound. The goal is to learn how ultrasound changes the tumor environment, which could help design better treatments in the future.
