Foam injection offers hope for shrinking painful cysts

NCT ID NCT04111692

Summary

This study is observing whether injecting a special foam into large, painful cysts can help people with inherited polycystic kidney or liver disease. Researchers will follow 100 patients for about a year to see if the procedure reduces pain, shrinks the cysts, and improves their quality of life. The goal is to see if this foam treatment provides longer-lasting relief compared to older methods.
