Calf rolling may loosen your neck, study finds
NCT ID NCT07025746
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether foam rolling the calf muscles could immediately improve how far healthy adults can bend their neck forward and backward. 90 participants were randomly assigned to either foam rolling or a control group. Neck flexibility was measured before and right after the intervention. The goal was to see if releasing tension in the calves has a quick effect on neck motion.
