New foam mat therapy could help women stop bladder leaks
NCT ID NCT04390204
Summary
This study tested a new physical therapy program for women with stress urinary incontinence, which causes leaks during activities like coughing or laughing. Researchers wanted to see if supervised balance exercises performed on a soft foam surface could reduce the amount of urine leakage. The trial involved 88 women and measured changes in leakage, symptoms, and quality of life.
