First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This early study is testing whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is safe and doable for children who have ongoing gut issues after a stem cell transplant. The researchers will give FMT to 10 children and watch for side effects and symptom improvement. The goal is to see if this approach can help manage gut problems like graft-versus-host disease.
