Summary
This study tests whether transplanting gut bacteria from a healthy donor (fecal microbiota transplantation) can improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. Sixteen participants will receive either the transplant or a placebo, and their glucose levels and gut bacteria will be monitored for 7 weeks. The goal is to see if changing the gut microbiome can help manage diabetes.
