First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether special lights and cameras can help find early signs of mouth cancer in people at high risk. About 338 participants with mouth lesions or conditions like Fanconi anemia will have their mouths examined with fluorescence imaging and tissue sampling. The goal is to see if these tools detect pre-cancer or early cancer better than standard exams, so treatment can start sooner.
