Summary
This study tested whether using a low-chloride IV fluid instead of normal saline could lower the risk of death or kidney damage in people with septic shock. Over 1,100 adults who needed fluid resuscitation for severe infection and low blood pressure took part. The goal was to see which fluid works better for survival within 30 days.
