New fluid control strategy tested in ICU to help failing kidneys

NCT ID NCT05473143

Summary

This study is testing a new, more active plan to manage fluid levels in critically ill patients whose kidneys have stopped working and require dialysis. It compares this planned approach to the usual care doctors provide. The goal is to see if carefully controlling fluid buildup can help patients recover better and spend less time on machines in the intensive care unit.
