New technology aims to Fine-Tune fluid treatment for critically ill surgery patients
NCT ID NCT07142083
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to give fluids to patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) after major surgery. Researchers will compare a new method using a special device to measure body water levels against the standard approach based on vital signs. The goal is to see if the new method helps patients survive and recover better by preventing complications from too much or too little fluid.
