Simple scan aims to keep heart failure patients out of the hospital
NCT ID NCT07173426
Summary
This study is testing if a quick, non-invasive body scan can help doctors better manage fluid levels in people hospitalized with worsening heart failure. Researchers will compare patients whose fluid treatment is guided by the scan results to those receiving standard care. The main goal is to see if this approach reduces the need for extra treatment or a return to the hospital within 90 days after going home.
