Smart sensor could Fine-Tune fluid removal after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07077772
Summary
This study is testing if using a bedside urine sensor to guide a common water pill (furosemide) is better than the usual approach for managing fluid overload after heart surgery. Researchers will compare how well the sensor-guided method removes excess fluid and whether it leads to fewer complications like kidney problems or extended hospital stays. The goal is to find a safer, more precise way to help patients recover.
