Researchers craft new tool to gauge fluid danger in failing kidneys
NCT ID NCT05538351
Summary
This study aims to create a better, standardized tool to assess fluid levels in hospitalized patients with sudden kidney injury (AKI). It will test different measurement methods, including a device called bioimpedance and patient symptoms, to see which are most useful. The goal is to help doctors more accurately tell if a patient has too much or too little fluid, which is critical for safe care.
