Smart scale aims to predict dangerous fluid buildup in dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT07059962

Summary

This study is testing a special scale that measures heart and fluid signals to see if it can predict dangerous fluid overload in people using peritoneal dialysis for kidney failure. The goal is to give patients and doctors an early warning before a serious event happens, potentially preventing emergency visits. The study will enroll 125 adults who use a specific type of home dialysis machine.
