New drug combo aims to boost survival in AML stem cell transplants

Summary
This study compares two drug combinations given before a stem cell transplant for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in remission. The goal is to see if using clofarabine plus busulfan leads to better 2-year survival than the standard fludarabine plus busulfan. About 302 participants will be enrolled, and the study will also look at quality of life and cost-effectiveness.
