Scientists peek inside noses to see how flu shots really work

NCT ID NCT06824779

Summary

This study aims to understand how the flu vaccine affects immune cells in the nose, which is where the flu virus first enters the body. Researchers will enroll 30 healthy volunteers who plan to get a flu shot. They will collect cells from volunteers' noses and blood to measure immune responses, helping to learn if current vaccine tests miss important protection details.
