New brain aneurysm treatment trial tests flow diverter device

NCT ID NCT07372612

Summary

This study compares two different procedures for treating unruptured brain aneurysms at a specific location. Researchers want to see if a newer device called a flow diverter works better than the standard stent-assisted coiling approach. The trial will involve 140 participants who will receive one of the two treatments and be followed for one year to check aneurysm closure, brain function, and safety.
