New brain stent trial aims to block deadly aneurysms

NCT ID NCT07205302

Summary

This study is testing a device called a flow diverter, which is a tiny mesh tube placed in a brain artery. It aims to safely block off dangerous, non-round brain aneurysms by redirecting blood flow away from them. The trial will enroll 168 adults to see how well the device works to fully close the aneurysm and how safe the procedure is.
