New hope for kids with tough leukemia: first trial of promising drug
NCT ID NCT04158739
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new immunotherapy drug called flotetuzumab in children and young adults whose acute myeloid leukemia (AML) has come back or hasn't responded to other treatments. The main goals are to find the safest dose and understand the side effects. The drug works by helping the body's own immune system target and fight the leukemia cells.
