First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new feature on a home dialysis machine for people with kidney failure. The feature, called FlexPoint, allows flexible fluid volume and dwell time during treatment. Researchers will compare standard treatment to the new feature in 24 adults who have been on automated peritoneal dialysis for at least 3 months. The goal is to see if FlexPoint improves waste removal and fluid balance.
