NCT ID NCT07377461
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether a new flexible access sheath with suction can make kidney stone surgery faster and safer compared to a standard sheath. Fifty adults with kidney stones 10 mm or larger were randomly assigned to one of the two sheaths during a minimally invasive procedure. The main goal was to see if the suction sheath reduced operation time, while also checking for complications, hospital stay, and how well stones were removed.
