First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, noninvasive hearing aid that uses a small, flexible patch to send sound vibrations directly to the inner ear. It is designed for children and adults with conductive hearing loss, where sound doesn't travel properly through the outer or middle ear. Researchers will check if the device helps people hear sounds at comfortable levels. The goal is to offer a simpler, surgery-free option for improving hearing.
