Summary

This study looks at whether a plant-based omega-3 supplement from flaxseed can reduce pain and improve daily life for children with sickle cell disease. About 30 children aged 5 to 18 will take flaxseed and report their pain levels and quality of life. The goal is to find a more acceptable way to manage inflammation-driven pain.
