First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This early study tests a new shoe device called Flash-Sole that uses soft materials and electrical signals to gently assist with foot movement while walking. Up to 15 healthy adults aged 19 to 45 will walk on a treadmill wearing the device to see if it is safe, comfortable, and works as intended. The goal is to gather feedback and improve the device for future research, not to treat any medical condition.
