First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This pilot study tested whether a 12-week high-intensity functional training program could improve physical function in 13 older adults (60+) with long-term mobility disabilities who can still walk. The program focused on walking speed, endurance, balance, and leg strength. Results will help determine if a larger study is worthwhile.
