Summary
This study aimed to understand how physical fitness changes over time in children and teens with severe intellectual disabilities living in orphanages. Researchers followed 132 participants aged 7-18 for three years, measuring their strength and balance every few months. The goal was to gather evidence to help design better physical education and health programs for this vulnerable group.
