New app aims to close health gap for black men through fitness
NCT ID NCT05621044
Summary
This study tested a smartphone app designed specifically to help African American men start and keep up a physical activity routine. The goal was to see if this culturally tailored app could help reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes, which disproportionately affect this group. Researchers compared the new app to a similar, well-known fitness app to see which was more effective for this community.
