Fitbits help doctors measure spine surgery success

Summary
This study looks at whether Fitbit activity monitors can help measure physical function in people with cervical myelopathy (a spine condition) before and after decompression surgery. Researchers will compare Fitbit step counts with standard questionnaires to see if the monitors provide useful information. About 200 adults who are scheduled for surgery and own a smartphone will participate.
