First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a Fitbit can help catch infections early in children recovering from appendix surgery. Researchers will track activity, heart rate, and sleep patterns in 500 kids to see if changes can predict an infection before symptoms appear. The goal is to help doctors make faster decisions and reduce the need for extra hospital visits.
