Could fish oil stop diabetic nerve damage before it starts?
NCT ID NCT05145452
Summary
This study tested whether daily fish oil supplements could improve nerve and heart function in older adults with prediabetes who showed early signs of nerve damage. Participants took either fish oil or a placebo for six months. The goal was to see if this common supplement could help control or slow the progression of nerve problems before they become severe.
