Can a spice and fish oil pill shrink Smokers' lung spots?
NCT ID NCT03598309
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of fish oil (Lovaza) and curcumin (from turmeric) can help reduce the size of small lung nodules found in former and current heavy smokers. The goal is to see if these natural supplements might help prevent lung problems before they become serious. About 19 participants will take the supplements or a placebo for 6 months while researchers track nodule size and safety.
