Summary
This study looked at how many fishermen and fish-factory workers have fish allergy compared to other workers in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. The goal was to see if working with fish increases the chance of developing an allergy. Researchers checked 486 people for signs of fish allergy and past infections from a common fish parasite called Anisakis.
