Summary

This early-stage study is testing a natural compound called fisetin in 60 healthy younger adults and older patients with multiple chronic conditions. Participants take fisetin or a placebo for two days and are followed for up to three months. The goal is to see if fisetin is safe, how the body processes it, and whether it can reduce inflammation and signs of aging by clearing senescent ('zombie') cells.
