Can a berry compound slow aging? new trial seeks answers
NCT ID NCT07195318
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily fisetin supplement can help support healthy aging in middle-aged and older adults. Fisetin is a natural compound found in fruits like strawberries, and animal studies suggest it might reduce inflammation linked to aging. For 7 weeks, 120 healthy volunteers will take either fisetin or a placebo pill to see if it's safe and affects markers of inflammation and aging.
