First human test for new drug begins

Summary
This is the first time researchers are testing a new drug called ABCL575 in people. The study will check if the drug is safe and how the body handles it in 40 healthy volunteers. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo (inactive substance) in gradually increasing doses to monitor for any side effects.
