First humans receive experimental drug in early safety test
NCT ID NCT06918925
Summary
This is the first study to test the experimental drug JUV-161 in people. It aims to check the safety, side effects, and how the drug moves through the body in 40 healthy adult volunteers. The data collected will help plan future studies in patients with muscle-wasting diseases like DM1. This is an early Phase 1 trial, so the main goal is to learn about safety, not to treat a disease.
