Summary
This is the first study in people for a new antibiotic called BAL2420, which is being developed to fight serious bacterial infections. Researchers are testing it in healthy volunteers to see if it is safe, how well it is tolerated, and how the body processes it. The study will give different doses to small groups of people to find the right amount for future testing in patients.
