First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This early study tests a new robotic surgical device called the Revolve Surgical System for removing the appendix. Three adults with simple appendicitis will have surgery using this robot, which helps the surgeon work more precisely. The main goal is to see if the device is safe and can complete the surgery without switching to standard methods.
