Can a phone app help heal Firefighters' hidden wounds?
NCT ID NCT07199387
Summary
This study will test whether a mobile app called PeerOnCall can improve mental health and work performance for Canadian firefighters. Researchers will enroll 2000 firefighters to compare two ways of introducing the app, which provides private peer support and wellness resources. The main goal is to see if the app is used more often and if that leads to better mental health and fewer work limitations over one year.
