NCT ID NCT06931561
First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study is testing whether whole-body MRI, ultrasound, and a new blood test can detect cancer early in firefighters. Firefighters have a higher risk of certain cancers due to job exposures. The study will enroll 800 active firefighters aged 35 and older with at least 10 years of service. The goal is to see how well these screening tools find pre-cancer or cancer, and what follow-up steps are needed.
