NCT ID NCT05242627
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether a new training module helps medical students feel more confident and actually talk to patients about firearm safety. About 360 students from UCLA will be observed during a mock patient visit to see if they ask about guns and give safety advice. The goal is to reduce firearm injuries by making these conversations a routine part of medical care.
